WHO I AM

Hello! My name is Tyler McDonough and I am a graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Sustainability. I am currently pursuing a Masters of the Environment with a specialization in Renewable Energy at the University of Colorado Boulder.

I originally got into marketing because I was interested in learning more about what drives consumer decision-making. The combination of utilizing an analytical mindset—leveraging data to predict and understand trends—coupled with a creative mindset when forming solutions to marketing problems is what intrigued me most. Now, I am interested in breaking into the renewable energy sector, as this is where my passion lies. I'm hoping to gain experience in renewable energy wherever I can to successfully pivot into the industry.

Outside of school and my professional aspirations, I enjoy traveling, volunteering, playing basketball/volleyball, spending time with my family, hiking with my dog, and skiing. I believe it is important to keep challenging myself to remain curious and try new things.
